Topic/Skill: Grammar

Feedback provided to tutee: I helped the tutee with her grammar assignment and we did an activity helping her generate sentences using the tenses that she was focusing on in class. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: The tutee very much enjoys grammar activities and having set rules to follow, so exceptions are hard for her. I spent a decent amount of time going over weird grammatical exceptions and finding ways to help her remember those exceptions.

Date/Time: November 3, 2023 Location: Student Union Topic/Skill: Scenario - Speaking Feedback provided to the tutee: In the beginning, I opened up a conversation about food, like traditional food, preferences, etc. Then I taught a couple of things like greetings, present simple tense, and the auxiliary "would." We also focused on some vocabulary relating to food before ending with a role-play play of ordering some food at Starbucks.
