Feedback provided to tutee: The tutee wanted more advice on her elevator pitch assignment, and still didn't quite understand the concept of an elevator pitch. I spent a while trying to explain the concept to her, and I think she finally got it. I also helped her brainstorm more ideas for the pitch and format some sentences she was having trouble with. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: She has a hard time with metaphors and idioms, as she is very logic and formula-based. She prefers grammar because it has set rules for her to follow.

Date/Time: November 3, 2023 Location: Student Union Topic/Skill: Scenario - Speaking Feedback provided to the tutee: In the beginning, I opened up a conversation about food, like traditional food, preferences, etc. Then I taught a couple of things like greetings, present simple tense, and the auxiliary "would." We also focused on some vocabulary relating to food before ending with a role-play play of ordering some food at Starbucks.
