Topic/Skill: Conversational skills and intensive reading activity

Feedback provided to tutee: I assessed her spoken English and gave her some implicit corrective feedback. We kept going with the intensive reading article, and I corrected her pronunciation.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or tutee:Intensive reading is something that, with any level other than advanced, can easily take more than one class session, even if that session lasts one hour. There are too many variables for students to be able to successfully complete it in a shorter time span.
