Topic/Skill: Reading

Feedback provided to tutee: We reviewed the reading for her final exam and went over vocabulary and reading comprehension questions. I provided the tutee with a simplified overview of the article to increase her understanding. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: The tutee finds reading to be one of her most difficult subjects, but it is also really hard to teach, especially when the subject matter is so complex. The reading was on the branches of the government and their organization and functions. This was very difficult to explain in a simple way with simple vocabulary.
