Topic/Skill: American Foster system/ Reading Comprehension

Feedback provided to the tutee: In this session, we focused on reading out loud and pronunciation while building skills to comprehend the context/meaning of words and phrases. The majority of feedback I provided was pronunciation correction of certain sentences. I also encouraged him to guess phrases, and then we went over them together. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or tutee: I learned he works better when he is encouraged to talk and explain to me the reason behind his answers.

Date/Time: November 3, 2023 Location: Student Union Topic/Skill: Scenario - Speaking Feedback provided to the tutee: In the beginning, I opened up a conversation about food, like traditional food, preferences, etc. Then I taught a couple of things like greetings, present simple tense, and the auxiliary "would." We also focused on some vocabulary relating to food before ending with a role-play play of ordering some food at Starbucks.
