Feedback provided to tutee: I helped her review vocabulary and tested her comprehension through discussion questions

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or tutee: I learned that students thrive at listening activities when teachers review the vocabulary and linguistic support right beforehand. Also, students will be much more invested in topics they find interesting, and humor helps too!
