Topic/Skill: Composition and Grammar

Feedback provided to tutee: I aided her in her composition and essay writing skills including grammar and essay organization. We worked together on editing her first draft based on the instructor's comments and my own comments. Additionally, I helped edit her sentences for a grammar worksheet and taught the foundational skills for the worksheet. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: It's hard! She asked me a grammar question that I didn't know the answer to and I had to tell her that I didn't know and would have to answer it next session.

Date/Time: November 3, 2023 Location: Student Union Topic/Skill: Scenario - Speaking Feedback provided to the tutee: In the beginning, I opened up a conversation about food, like traditional food, preferences, etc. Then I taught a couple of things like greetings, present simple tense, and the auxiliary "would." We also focused on some vocabulary relating to food before ending with a role-play play of ordering some food at Starbucks.
