Topic/Skill: Grammar - infinitive verbs/ trigger verbs 

Teacher Presentation:  The teacher started the class by reviewing the last class notes/activities. Then he completed fill in the black with class while explaining grammar rules

Classroom Management: After explaining what trigger verbs are, the teacher only filled out the worksheet as students participated, he also asked for an explanation for the answer.

Materials: Worksheet/Word Document, and background music while students completed the worksheet by themselves.

Student Participation: Everyone provided an answer to the blank

Feedback Provided: The teacher corrected any answers that did not belong to the fill-in-the-blank and explained why the transitive verb did not belong in that sentence.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: When teaching an ESL class it is important to be comfortable with the students and talk to them directly instead of reading off a script. I also learned that class participation is vital for reinforcing students' comfort outside of their comfort zone.
